Mr. Ho, a former push-cart stallholder, brings the best of Penang’s street food under one roof so that customers dine in air- conditioned restaurant setting, but at hawker prices. Mr. Ho, the curry expert, creates the one and only Whites Curry Mee recipe in Malaysia. His special homemade chili sauce enjoys overwhelming popularity.

Kaya & Nyonya Kuih

Passed down to the present third generation, the Nyonya kuih made by the Tan family has been around for 50 years. Mr Tan’s maternal grandmother, a Nyonya, is a kuih-making expert whose passion lies in creating new flavours and varieties. Being halal-certified, the Peranakan delicacies served here are hugely popular with Malay and Indian customers.

The owner is a floral stylist-turned-chef. Like most Nyonya ladies of her generation, Rosie had been nurtured and trained in culinary skills at a very young age. Her dream of owning a boutique restaurant took shape, where she presents her favourite dishes – 80 classic Peranakan cuisines in all.
