Curry Mee is a dish that is unique to Malaysia, usually made up of thin yellow egg noodles or/and string thin mee-hoon (rice vermicelli) with spicy curry soup, coconut milk, and a choice of dried tofu, prawns, cuttlefish, chicken, egg and mint leaves. However, what makes Curry Mee is a special chilli/sambal and edible pig's blood.

Chulia Street Curry Mee

Here in Chulia Street, we can see lots of small hawker food stalls however my attention is more focus on the one crowded with people. Locals alike are all waiting for the CURRY MEE. I have also ordered a bowl for myself, it was very mouth-watering. Stall owner Mr. Dong, started it 33 years ago & his CURRY MEE’s characteristic are the special ingredient soup and the fresh fish balls. When you eat, you can experience the curry flavour infused in the fresh fish ball, tasting so juicy and yummy. For the garniture we have squid, bean sprouts, coagulated pig’s blood and cockles . You may also want to try one wishfully. . .
