As early as 7.00a.m. members of the Lions Club of Bayan Baru were getting ready for this grand occasion at the Penang International Sports Arena (PISA).
By 8.00a.m. all the participants and invited guests have arrived and were having breakfast. The invited guests were PCC Jeffery Quah, IPDG Dato and Datin Khoo Kay Huat, Sr Tan Cheng Chui, YB Danny Law.
Around 8.15a.m. our Chief Minister of Penang YAB Mr Lim Guan Eng arrived to officiate this morning function. There were two mock cheque presentations. The first one was the Myanmar Cyclone Nargis Relief Fund which start with RM30,000.00 donated by the members of the Lions Club of Bayan Baru. This project will continue until 22nd July 2008.
