Lions Club of Bayan Baru District 308 B2

The formation of the Lions Club of Bayan Baru (峇央峇鲁狮子会) in the metropolitan township of Bandar Bayan Baru which was attended by 30 charter members was held at the Hotel Equatorial on 30th May 2004.

The Club was sponsored by the Pearl of the Orient Lions Club with Lion May Chin as the Guiding Lion.

The formation of the Club was officiated by Past Council Chairman Lion Hong Khay Chai with his vast experiences in Lionism to share his knowledge for the benefit of the new Charter Members joining the family of Lions Club International.

Also present were 1st Vice-Present Lion F.S. Ho and Guiding Lion May Chin from the Sponsoring Club of the Pearl of the Orient Lions Club.

During the formation meeeting, Mr. Goh Eng Hoe and Mr. Chai Tsing Boo were duly elected as Charter President and 1st Vice-President respectively to sit in the Board of Directors.

Hand Over To The New BOD of 2008/2009

The 1st BOD Meeting was held at Hotel Vistana on Sunday, 6July, 2008 at 7.00pm. It's the first meeting for the new term of 2008/2009.

Medal received by Dato' Goh Eng Hoe during the 91st Lions Clubs International Convention. Dato' Goh has donated USD 101,000.00 to the Campaign SightFirst II Fund.
